Old Jail Museum / Old Town Coldspring
The Old Jail Museum, situated in Old Town Coldspring, was built in 1881 and restored in 1983. Museum artifacts interpret the life of early settlers with farm and forest implements, household articles, historic photos, and much more. The jail is noted for a rare but never used hangman’s trip. The museum is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Old Town Coldspring consists of numerous buildings of interest. One of these, the Waverly School House, was built in 1926 and moved to the current site in 1983. This building houses vendors of antiques, collectibles, and crafts.

Other buildings include the Old Ellisor Corn Crib (1840), Old Camilla Post Office (1927), the New Jackson General Store, and the Urbana Train Depot.
